The Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association promotes the development of meaningful engagement opportunities with Indigenous communities within the Region. The goal of collaborating with Indigenous leadership, members of the community and tourism-related businesses is to develop strong relationships and partnerships. Once tourism goals and objectives are identified, the CCCTA can provide support for tourism initiatives by connecting Indigenous communities and tourism businesses to available resources, training opportunities and regional marketing options. Indigenous participation in the development of the tourism economy is vital to the growth of the industry in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Region.
