Tourism Development Officer
Responsibilities:
- Work with the CCCTA destination development team to support the program
- Support implementation of strategic development projects
- Organize and conduct meetings
- Prepare, review, and provide input to documents
- Communicate with project partners
- Conduct research and coordination of key projects such as a collaborative tourism resource road strategy, digital literacy skills training and the launch of a regional Google information strategy.
Tourism Industry Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Work with the CCCTA destination development team to support the program
- Attend meetings,
- Business site visits
- Conduct accessibility audits
- Prepare minutes and reports
- Update databases, gather imagery
- Attend training and supporting the delivery of training
Tourism Industry Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Work with the CCCTA travel trade, travel media relations team
- Work on the tourism destination development projects
- Support the film office
- Office administration
- Finance and tourism emergency management
Tourism Information Officer
Responsibilities:
- Learn about the Emergency Management framework in BC
- Support implementation of the regional tourism emergency preparedness plans
- Generate awareness and participation in emergency preparedness with tourism operators and communities
- Assist with tourism emergency mapping project and data entry
- Assist operators in the completion of business emergency preparedness and business continuity plans
- Support training and ongoing tourism emergency education
- Complete funding reporting requirements
Film Location Manager
Responsibilities:
- Work with regional stakeholders to update a regional film location database with contact information and imagery
- In-office duties, such as updating Creative BC’s “Reel Scout”, communicating with stakeholders and Creative BC via phone and email, and writing internal update reports.
- Location scouting, coordination image shoots and archive work, where required.
- Complementary cross-departmental work in our marketing and travel trade departments also available.
