Program Updates January 2022
Tourism Resiliency Program Ending January 31, 2022
The Tourism Resiliency Program has been available to work with the Tourism Businesses of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast for nearly two years due to the ongoing challenges created in one way or another as a result of COVID. Over that period of time, the Advisors working in the program have shared important information regarding funding – grants and loans offered through the Federal and Provincial government; kept the latest information in a one resource format, issued in a timely manner so that there was one resource to be referenced – as we all know how difficult searching the internet that can be.
We KNOW that the challenges have not gone away! We understand that without the past two years ~ and often more due to the Wildfires and Flooding ~ income, and the chance to conduct your businesses as usual, that you still face incredible blockades. The Tourism Resiliency Program has been a funded program. Please reach out to us and share your success stories, your ongoing challenges, and any information that you would like to share about this program – good or bad.
The Advisors have come to know you on a personal level, know your challenges and have directed businesses to the resources and information that would fit your individual needs and circumstances. We are still working with businesses on the grants and loans currently available. Please reach out if you need assistance.
Please reach out if your business or event needs assistance from our program advisors before January 31, 2022. Email advisor@landwithoutlimits.com.

As long as digital marketing has existed, search engines have always been where people go when they’re ready to book, or to buy. While it seems like more channels and tactics are added on every day, it’s never been more important to get your business showing up in search results the best way that it can.

Updates to the WorkBC Job Board Coming Soon
WorkBC’s job board is changing to serve you better. The Government of B.C. is partnering with Employment and Social Development Canada to co-deliver job board services. This means WorkBC.ca will soon have an updated job board, changing how B.C. employers register and post jobs, and enhancing how job seekers access job postings.
What’s changing for employers?
Employers will soon need to register and post jobs with the National Job Bank system. The job postings will then automatically display on WorkBC.ca for British Columbians to access. Job seekers will continue to search and view your job postings on WorkBC.ca.
There are several advantages with this change. Employers will:
- Get more exposure to qualified job seekers from across Canada.
- Continue to post jobs at no cost.
- Be able to invite job seekers to apply to jobs and fill positions faster.
- Receive real-time data on job posting progress.
- Have postings available in both French and English.
Employers will continue to be able to access valuable employer resources on WorkBC.ca, including information on funding and grants, business resources and skills training programs.
What do employers need to do?
You will need to register and create an employer account with the National Job Bank by January 11, 2022.
Note: National Job Bank registration requirements differ from WorkBC.ca due to enhanced security.
