Annual General Meeting Report

The first in person Annual General Meeting of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association, since 2019, took place on November 3, 2022 in 100 Mile House.
The event was well attended considering the weather and the first snow of the season.

The event started at 10:00 am with a Welcome to the land and a blessing, followed by a introduction and welcome from Maureen Pinkney, Mayor Elect of the District of 100 Mile House.

Presentations were given by Walt Judas of Tourism Industry Association of BC, Ingrid Jarrett of British Columbia Hotel Association, Key note speaker Josh Dueck and Richard Porges of Destination British Columbia.
Lunch was provided by BJ’s Donuts and cupcakes and cake were provided by Cariboo Cupcakes in celebration of the 60 year anniversary of the organization.
During lunch board members recalled the work that Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism has been a part of and acknowledge the 60 years of serving the Cariboo as a Regional Destination Management Organization.

The business of the Annual General Meetings for the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association and the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Marketing Association rounded off the afternoon.
