IDEAS LABS Peer – to – Peer Learning
The BC Tourism Resiliency Network together with the Tourism Café and the BC Regional Tourism Secretariat is pleased to be launching its next series of 12 Ideas Labs on four new topics from January to March 2021, selected by industry across the province.
Ideas Labs are part of the BC Tourism Resiliency Network’s suite of programs to support long term resiliency of tourism businesses through and to the other side of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ideas Labs are designed to be different from a webinar! They are short, 45-min, engaging and participatory sessions with everyone contributing to the conversation and sharing ideas on how to tackle key challenges being faced during COVID.

The Taking Care of Business Program brings relevant webinar training sessions combined with follow-up support to businesses within the Sun Country, Cariboo Chilcotin and North Cariboo regions. This program is funded by the Wildfire Business Transition Program. Community Futures Sun Country, Cariboo Chilcotin and North Cariboo regions can set you and your staff up for FREE webinars throughout all of 2020 with two simple steps: 1. Small Business Digital Meetups
Small Business BC (SBBC) is hosting Digital Meetups, a community video call for the small business community during COVID-19. Every Tuesday – Thursday at 11:00 AM, SBBC will be hosting a Digital Meetup focused around one pressing issue re:COVID-19: from how to generate revenue, to employment law, all specific to small businesses. The guest speakers will include small business owners and industry experts – with a large component focused on Q&A and knowledge sharing among those on the call. The Women’s Enterprise Centre hosts Digital Meetups on a variety of topics and allows for conversation among female entrepreneurs. The discussion will be Questions & Answers based, giving the audience an opportunity to provide their business background and letting us customize the content to ensure we deliver what you need.
