This is a test of the emergency broadcast system. If this were a real emergency...

Warm Welcome to Mackenzie Moore

Mackenzie Moore joins our team as the Tourism Emergency Program ManagerĀ

Mackenzie MooreMackenzie Moore was born and raised in Williams Lake and has recently returned after spending a few years travelling, working, and studying her BA in Sociology while based out of Kamloops and Calgary. During this time she worked in various fields from Residence Life, Hospitality, Marketing and Communications, and Pharmaceutical Patient Care. Unable to stay away from the region and communities that raised her she has embraced the opportunity to return to live, work, and play in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast again. Mackenzie previously worked with the CCCTA as an Archivist for a summer and is thrilled to be back in the office as the Emergency Response Manager, where she will be working directly with stakeholders to ensure they have the resources they need to mitigate, prepare, respond, and recover with the changing emergency seasons. Mackenzie is a PADI certified open water diver and is passionate about sustainable global travel, clean ocean initiatives, exploring new places, and sharing good stories. Outside of the office she can be found somewhere out in the vast CCC region with her dogs Emma and Sophie, a book, an Eat-More Bar, traveling either by car, kayak, Dragonboat, skis, or sometimes a good old pair of hiking boots.
