The Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association is hosting the annual 202 Summit & AGM October 15,16 & 17 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch located at 262 – 1855 Hwy 20, Hagensborg.
We are excited to welcome delegates from across the region and all areas of BC tourism to come together, network, gain knowledge and support the Tourism Industry and Economy. The event is designed to educate, provide network opportunities, influence new ideas and recognize our amazing industry leaders here in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast.

Hear from Beverly and Laurie from Community Futures Cariboo Chilcotin on supporting entrepreneurs to grow and sustain businesses in rural and remote communities within the region. They present on the following topics: business loans, self employment programs, business plan consultation, succession planning, and more.
Ingrid Jarrett
Ingrid from the British Columbia Hotel Association will be providing an industry update to attendees.
Beat Steiner
Beat from Bella Coola Heli Sports will be speaking on his 25 year journey as a business owner in Bella Coola, including opportunities for building a deeper and more meaningful relationship with the local Indigenous communities and how supporting local communities supports your business.
Walt Judas
Walt is the CEO of Tourism Industry Association of BC. He will provide a briefing on the issues that continue to impact BC’s visitor economy, and how TIABC and its members/partners are working to address both challenges and opportunities. Walt also wants to hear your feedback on key issues and opportunities facing the tourism industry.
Rodney Payne
Rodney is the Founder and CEO of Destination Think. As such, he will be presenting about CCCT and Destination Think’s collaboration on a video showcasing sustainability within the CCCT’s region.
Maya Lange & Leah Poulton
Maya is the Vice-President of Global Marketing for Destination British Columbia (DBC). In her role, Maya and her team lead the marketing efforts in 12 domestic and international markets via the Super, Natural British Columbia® brand. Leah Poulton is the Director of Global Brand Strategy for DBC. With her team, she leads the ongoing development of the Super, Natural British Columbia® brand family, which includes the new Iconic route and place brands. Together, they’ll be speaking on the following topics: Iconics updates of The Rainforest to Rockies and The Great Wilderness Iconics; highlights of the brand strategies for the two new Iconics for the region; launch of all the Iconics brands; and discuss ways in which communities and businesses can build alignment with these new Iconics.
