Falling forward into the world of storytelling

Bella Coola, BC | Callum Snape

I believe that the most important component of the human races evolution is the fact the we share our stories with each other. Other species on earth communicate through relatively complex sounds and teach by example. We on the other hand have very complex forms of speech and essentially teach by sharing our stories and pictures.

Think about this. We wouldn’t have complex communities with buildings and furniture, art, music, fancy food or clothing. As complex creatures as they are, we wouldn’t be much more developed than modern monkeys.
